Application of cold mirror reflectors & hot mirror filters
Both cold and hot mirrors are used for effectively dispersing the heat (Infrared lights from the UV Lamp) away and to collect the UV rays at the same time for fast and high-quality curing without distortion the object to be cured.
◎Cold Mirror
The cold
mirror reflector reflects ultraviolet lights(254nm,365nm,405nm,436nm) and
transmits visible rays and infrared rays.It is mostly used in low-temperature
products and can be coated on a plane,an elliptic surface, a spherical surface
and an outer surface of cylin-der.
It means
to reflect ultraviolet rays (200nm~380nm) and visible rays (381nm~650nm) and to
transmit infrared rays(651nm~).It is made by plating the vacuum deposition thin
layer comprised of deposition materials (Tio2,Sio2,Zro2….)on pyrex or
quartz.Optical application products can be made by plating multi layers (1~100
layers) on the deposition layer and using light interference.
◎Hot Mirror
Features
*It can be transformed with hardening
process because most IR is weak at heat. Therefore there is needed to block IR
with the hot mirror.
Hot Mirror
1.It can reduce temperature of the products
in UV hardening process.
2.It can transmit and block UV effectively.
3.It can be good about some products which
are changed easily with heat, to have film hardening process.
